So you think you’ve got troubles in your life? You think ‘life’s not fair’?
Look what B+ Hero, Karolena, did to her head when the chemo made her beautiful hair fall out.
And, she’s not complaining!
I’d like to share with you a brief note from a family that you helped.
“I am writing this letter as a thank you for the financial support and letter that I received from your foundation. I am truly thankful. Reading your letter has touched me. Going through what I go through with my 7 year old daughter, plus 3 other kids, takes its toll on me mentally and physically. Most of the time, I feel alone going through this, and receiving your note showed me that I am not alone. I realize there are other families going through the same thing. It made me feel good to know someone, somewhere knows and cares about what my family is going through. For that, I am truly grateful. I really appreciate your help and hope that one day I can do the same for another family. Brianna’s Mom”
B+ Sibling Hero, Casey Callahan, and her 1st grade friends are repeating their wildly successful “Kids vs Cancer B+ Bake Sale”. Come out to the Green Ridge Fire Company in Aston, PA on Sunday, April 1st. No April Fools here…just AMAZING baked goods. Delicious and creative! The kids will be staffing the tables from 10:00am-2:00pm. Last year, they got some really nice coverage on 6ABC. If last year was any indication, there will be a big crowd and the goodies will go fast.
Remember — kids aren’t just “the future”…they ARE THE PRESENT. And I don’t know where our Foundation would be without them! Thank you!
Live Like Andrew – MAKE it a great weekend. It’s up to you.
